Microsoft 365 Setup, Migration and Management

Mail, files and accounts moved onto Microsoft 365 with history intact and nothing lost in the cut-over — then licensed sensibly and handed back under your control.

Where Offices Get Stuck

The Microsoft 365 Problems We Are Called About

Migration is one job. Most calls are about the state left behind by an earlier one.

Mail still on a provider or old server

An ISP mailbox or an ageing on-premises server holding years of business correspondence. Migratable with full history — the folder structure and the archive come across, not just recent mail.

Licenses nobody can account for

Paying for departed staff, duplicate subscriptions, or the wrong tier for what people actually use. An audit routinely finds a meaningful monthly saving here.

The admin account belongs to someone else

A previous employee, a former IT provider, or an account nobody can sign into. Uncomfortably common, and it means you do not really control your own tenant.

Files scattered across personal accounts

Business documents in individual OneDrives instead of shared SharePoint libraries. When someone leaves, their work leaves with them.

No multi-factor authentication

An email account is the reset mechanism for everything else. Without MFA, a single stolen password is the whole business, and this is the highest-value change available.

Mail landing in spam after a change

A domain whose authentication records were never completed properly. Fixable, and worth fixing before it damages your sending reputation further.

Delivery

How a Migration Runs

Cut-over happens outside working hours, with the old mailbox kept available until everyone confirms.

Audit What Exists

Mailboxes, sizes, shared accounts, files, domain records and current licensing.

Plan and License

The right tier per person, the tenant prepared, and the cut-over dated.

Pre-Sync the Data

Mail and files copied across ahead of time, so the final sync is short.

Cut Over and Verify

Domain records switched out of hours, mail flow tested, old mailbox retained.

Scope

What the Migration Covers

Mail

Files & Accounts

Security & Handover

The global admin account is yours. We work under our own delegated access, so nothing depends on a provider account you cannot reach.

FAQ

Microsoft 365 Questions

Downtime, history, licensing and control.

Still not sure?

Describe the problem and we will tell you what it takes to fix it — before any work starts.

Will we lose any email during the migration?

No. Mail is pre-synced before the cut-over, the domain switch happens outside working hours, and the old mailbox stays available until everyone has confirmed. The final sync catches anything that arrived in between.

Yes — folder structure, archives, contacts and calendars, not just recent messages. Very large or very old mailboxes take longer to pre-sync, which we account for in the schedule.

It depends on whether people need desktop Office applications, how much storage they use and what security features you want. We license per person against actual use rather than putting everyone on the same tier by default.

You do. The global admin account is yours, and we operate under delegated access. If you change provider, nothing about your tenant depends on us.

Yes — mail, calendars, contacts and Drive files, with the same pre-sync and out-of-hours cut-over approach.

If you want. License management, account onboarding and offboarding and security review are all part of a managed arrangement — see Managed IT Services.
